THE QUESTION:   WHO WAS MOSHER?

 

THE ANSWER IS:   From Mark Snyder's faded memory --- In order for the House Plan Association to give us a charter, we had to select a name from a list of "notable" CCNY alumni.  We met and selected [to the best I can remember] a man named E. Ray Mosher.  His claim to fame was that he introduced co-education to CCNY.

But wait ... there is a disclaimer: this could have all been a hallucination.
